Sitting beneath the cover of winter's white;

Not sure whether the end's in sight;

Finding the song the cardinal sings 'midst the snow of life, 'mongst other things.

To find the seed for nourishment,

Today, brings slight encouragement.

Another day of energy spent

on wrong or right whe'ver we went.

The sun shines brightly winter's white,
